How do I apply the nails?
Check out our featured tutorial here for complete instructions.
How do I remove GELIs?
To remove GELIs, you have two options:
- Peel them off. If you have brittle nails, you can soak your nails in warm water for 3-5 minutes before peeling off.
- Use nail polish remover to remove the GELIs.
How do I remove GELIs if I have gel top coat?
- Peel them off. You can soak your hands in warm water before you peel them off if you have brittle nails. No need to file off top coat or soak in acetone.
Do I have to wear a top coat?
GELIs do not require a top coat, but you can double the wear of your mani or pedi with top coat applied. Top coat, whether it's gel top coat or regular, will protect your GELIs and add extra shine.
Do GELIs need to be cured with UV?
No. GELIs do not need to be cured to be worn. Our Starter Kit includes a gel top coat that does need to be cured with UV. We found gel top coat really extends the wear time, but if you don't want to use UV, you can wear your GELIs without a top coat, or with a regular top coat.
How long do they last?
Our GELIs last between 10-14 days. To ensure longer wear time, apply top coat for extra protection and shine.
Can GELIs be applied on toes?
Absolutely! Our nail strips can be used on both hands and feet.
What top coat works best?
If you buy a regular top coat rather than our gel top coat, ensure you buy a regular top coat instead of the quick dry top coat. Quick dry top coats can make the edges of the GELIs curl up.
Can the GELIs be layered?
They sure can! You can either layer them on themselves, or add on top of your gel, dip, or regular polish manicure.
Can I get my hands wet with GELIs?
Yes! For best results, avoid soaking your hands in water 3 hours after applying to let the adhesive fully stick to your nails. Otherwise, the GELIs may fall off.
